Hi- I'm Darlene and I love helping buyers find their dream home. We moved to Indiana in 2008 from Northern Michigan where we raised our young family of four kids- Kellen, Ben, Kaylee and Brianna. There I was quite involved as BOA (Business Office Administrator) for an Edward Jones office and as a leader for the women's conference ministry at the Gaylord Evangelical Free church. It was fun living amongst the pine trees and crystal clear lakes. We still visit often or just to get away. I grew up in Port Huron, MI as the oldest of four and have many great memories. Later I graduated from Word of Life Bible Institute in upstate NY and then Cedarville University in Ohio. Mark and I met in the summer of 1991 on the shore of Lake Michigan near Muskegon and became lifelong friends. Later we moved to Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo then to Northern Michigan for about ten years. Even though I continued with Edward Jones here in Indiana- I also obtained my mortgage license and have also worked at First American Title and for Chris Striebeck, Real Estate Attorney. Being around so many aspects of real estate as well as having personally bought and sold so many homes - including NEW CONSTRUCTION - I know this business inside and out. When not doing real estate I love to travel with my husband to any place with mountains, lakes, pine trees and (yes...) bears. Our kids are mostly grown- but now I'm hoping for some grand babies!
